John Farho, PA-C

John is a Physician Assistant (PA) who has been a part of our team since 2017. He was raised in Africa from until age 17 when he and his family moved back stateside as he embarked on his undergraduate career at University of Nebraska - Omaha. During undergrad and thereafter, John proudly served our country for 10 years as a Staff Sergeant Combat Medic as well as a Combat Lifesaver Course instructor in the U.S. Army National Guard. His time in the Army garnered him valuable skills in leadership, teamwork, quick problem solving, communication, and how to remain calm in the most stressful of situations. John also worked as a strength and mobility specialist and personal trainer before he became a Physician Assistant. His experience as a medic and interest in personal training inspired him to obtain his Physician Assistant degree from University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2016. He began his career in pediatric neurosurgery, and ultimately changed course to join our ortho trauma team soon after.

Outside of work, John is all about staying active with his wife and daughters—whether it’s through sports, camping, traveling, or soaking up as much outdoor time as possible. As a self-made carpenter with a knack for tackling just about any home improvement project, he’s always got something in the works. Lucky for MOTUS, handyman skills are transferable.
